I'm having trouble finding an llmd. Any help would be great. Northern california. Quincy, CA Thank you

Suffering, welcome to the forum! If you go to your profile and enable your email (which will remain private to members only) and either start a new thread if you can't edit this one, and say "Looking for an LLMD in______________(fill in your location), we can email you names and addresses.

We don't want to put LLMD names on the forum in most instances, in order to protect them from any IDSA die hards are watching.

Also, you might want to read over our intro, "New to Lyme?....start here!" section at the top, if you haven't already.

Please share your Lyme story with us, if you like! You'll get plenty of support and empathy here, for as long as you want and need.

Thank you julymorning. I'm located in northern california near truckee. I am at my wits eND trying to figure out what's wrong with me. Brain fog, confusion, anxiety, digestion problems, depression comes and goes. Also I would like to know how you guys feel about igenex tests. I am thinking about getting one done. Thank you

Also headeaches, freezing cold feet, sometimes sweaty, I just don't feel normal. I actually been taking cannabis oil, both thc and cbd for about 2 weeks. A few days back I started feeling great and then bam, back to feeling terrible. I'm assuming it could be the herx effect. Been taking activated charcoal but doesn't seem to be helping all that much. I just want to be myself again.

Igenex is supposedly the gold standard of testing. I'll be emailing you a few names shortly,

But, anyone else on here that lives in California that knows of someone good in the Northern part, please help Suffering out with an email.

Here is the Igenex website - you can call and order a test kit.

The best bang for your buck is the Lyme Western Blot IgM and IgG - total cost $210 for both.

The lab req from Igenex will need to be signed by a Dr. Do you have a Dr. who is willing to do that?

It can be any Dr. - including a chiropractor.

If you don't have a Dr. to sign, you can go through TrueHealthLabs.com and select the Igenex WB test.
This would be instead of ordering the test kit.

I live in the Bay Area, which is pretty far from you, but I could give you some names, if you like. They definitely are willing to do phone appointments interspersed with periodic physical visits.

Jasper that would be awesome. I'm orginally from the bay area, hayward ca. I still have family there. If I have to I am willing to come down there. Although I'm trying for the sacramento area. But driving to the bay area isn't that bad if it can solve all the problems I am having.

Julymorning, they are far away. But that's ok if I can find some reputable help. I think you or someone else recommended someone in Sacramento who I will be calling tommorow and I will let you all know how that goes. Thanks again for all the help and advice. I thought I sent you a name off an llmd in Sacramento. You haven't gotten it?

I just checked my email again and the address against your email address here, and it's the same. I got a reply from you that you'd be calling the name in Sacramento that I sent you, tomorrow.

Girlie, I have one I am calling tommorow but if you know of anymore in the sacramento area I will take them. Where I live is pretty rural and I don't have any options up here so sac is my best bet.

Suffering, I am near Truckee also. I went to Dr. M in Sacramento. He is okay. I also went to Dr. S in Weimar and he was awesome (also closer for you). But I just heard from another member and he said that Dr. S will not take any chronic patients. Sad, because he does take insurance.

So sad that so many llmd's are in the bay area and the forest is all up here. I don't get that.
