Help with Doxy...side effect or new symptom?

Feeling awful AGAIN lol Blaming some of it on the upcoming full moon which always coincides with my monthly cycle (wonderful timing, right?) but I also have what could either be a new neuro symptom or a side effect/result of the doxy (on my third day):

-I have a weird feeling and I don't know how to describe it. Almost like my legs feel rubbery or I'm floating. I feel like I'm off balance and tipping from one side to the other. It's not dizziness. I feel like I have to hang on to things or I'll lose my balance completely.

I also feel like I may be getting a cold or something except it won't just appear full force, it's like a lingering yuckiness. But the lymph nodes around my ears are very sore and tender again; it hurts to lay on a pillow.

I'm detoxing, I swear! lol Has anyone else felt like this? Was it doxy or something else?

Well, with the full moon, hormones raging and you just starting Doxy, I'd have to say it's likely a herx - even though you are detoxing. Grab the binders and put them to use! Also increase your detoxing or add in new detoxing routines for a bit to see if that helps.

Hopefully this won't last long with this combination of things hitting you and you can get back to a better place quickly!!

Thanks, Traveler. Had hopes of doing a massive cleaning of my apartment today after work, but I may just go home and go to bed (and hide).

LOL! That's about all I'm doing lately!! But, I'm afraid that with the full moon and hormones being high right now, you may want to just 'lay low' and take care of you. I hope it doesn't last too long!! I'm not looking forward to this full moon either though.

I hate to sound like a Grinch....but I can't wait for the holidays to be over with. Too much emotional stress on top of everything else....

I have this too, although it sprung up recently. While I was on doxy I didn't have it.

I'm right there with you, Pmm!! I've never really liked the holidays, but I think it has a lot to do with the over stimulation (lights and music everywhere, everyone in a rush), and of course, expectations of people. I've also lost some very beloved people in my life during this time, so that adds to it. So I readily admit to being a Grinch, but I do have reasons.

I'm just tired, so everything seems hard. LOL! Together we can get through this though!!!!! Hang in there, Pmm!!

I had that with Mino. Awful feeling. It will go away when your body adaprt to new abx. In the meantime have a good detox and eat clean, to help your body the most.

Ive been on doxy for 2 mos in the beginning i had alot of head pressure and dizziness also felt anxious,it got better but started to come back the pressure feel kinda surreal very weird feeling im taking a few days off to detox and will see what happens.my dr wants to stay on 2 more mos, its going to be tough.

Yes! Everything seems surreal! My head pressure is not new though; I've been having that for a few weeks now. Going to detox and rest and pray for the best. (Hey, that rhymes lol)

Feel better! Are you using Pinella by any chance? I think that has helped my head pressure a lot!

Kudzu root should also help with brain pressure. Buhner suggest it's use just for that, and it worked well for me.

Starting month #3 with doxy, knotweed, etc. Vertigo and incipient vertigo started 10 days ago. Similar to what you describe - not actually dizzy but not positive of vertical locations. I have fallen and caught myself occasionally, not all the way, though did lose balance while moving my motorcycle on grass (the lawn, not the herb) but it was not running. The world just turned sideways on me. The air hunger from lifting the bike (575#) was more distressful than the slow motion fall. No motorcycles were damaged during the incident!

oh ok ill try the pinella, hopefully will work, what is head pressure exactly from, i hate it id rather have muscle aches. Feel better! keep my updated on your head pressure with the doxy.
