Hi

Does anyone know where I can buy Japanese Knotweed in South Africa? Resveratrol from the knotweed plant not from grapes.

Is it possible for you to order from Green Dragon Botanicals? I am not sure where they can deliver.

...and I believe Buhner recommends Japanese knotweed - whole herb...not just the Resveratrol from it.

BBM - suggested GDB - which is a good source if they ship to your location

GDB is capsules.

TanyainJoburg - have you found a source that will ship herbs to you in South Africa?

I emailed Sage Woman Herbs and asked about shipping.

Here's part of their response:

"....have you been successful in receiving shipments to South Africa, so, what company shipped to you and what carrier did they use? How long did it take and did you have issues with customs at all? These answers will help us to determine our ability to ship to South Africa. Thank you so much!"


It sounds like they may be open to shipping to SA - but need to know more information.

Wow! That's for enquiring, Girlie. I know that the postal service is a real problem. The taxes are more than the parcel is worth and a lot gets stolen. I am not sure about courier services. I will have to find out. I did speak to a health shop owner who said he might be able to bring it in for me but I'm not sure what he'll charge me yet. It doesn't seem that Japanese Knotweed is available in South Africa, only Resveratrol from grapes. I've tried that and I have seen some improvement but I need something more effective.

I guess UPS would be too expensive . UPS is world-wide, isn't it?

Hopefully the Health store owner is able to help you.
Try to get Japanese Knotweed - not just the Resveratrol from the knotweed.

I'm still trying to find out about getting knotweed from KwaZulu-Natal. So far everyone seems clueless. I will let you know if I manage to find it here.
