Check out the gaps diet. It's moreso a way of eating, not a diet. Many people have great results on it. I would definitely include bone or marrow broth. I'm actually trying to ramp up on that. For fruit try those with lower glycemic index and not too much. My doctor told me Granny Smith apples were ok. Sweet potatoes are ok. I personally include protein in each meal. Also brown rice bread is ok. I worked with a nutritious several times and these were some of the things that were shared with me. I'll try to pull out some paperwork and add in a few more things.
I also include fermented vegetables. My fave is sauerkraut by bubbies. But there are a host of things out there. Just choose things without regular vinegar. ACV is ok.
