We need a lyme blood doctor

The lyme community needs a lyme blood doctor. We need a doctor who can take samples of our blood and/or our csf, examine it under a microscope and tell us SPECIFICALLY what our ailment is.

The current protocol of Igenex testing is not enough. These tests point us in the right direction, be we really need customized analysis of what specific pathogens we have in our body in order to create a custom treatment regime to target specific pathogens.

There's too much poking around in the dark with a stick. That's what it seems like we're doing. Try this protocol, then try that protocol. It's just not efficient. We need to advocate for a lyme blood/csf doctor who can provide specific analysis for the pathogens we need to eradicate.

How do we get this doctor? What's the path we need to follow? I'm not sure.

From what I know, Dr. Fry from Fry Labs would be the best option for co-infection testing via a blood smear.

Unfortunately you would need to get your blood drawn and the results would have to go to a doctor as far as I know. I know someone who had it done through Fry many years ago and they found both Bart and Babs in his blood.

Babs is a blood disorder, the critters attach to as well as enter the rbc. Bart infects the vascular lining. Borrelia goes into the tissue looking for collagen. The problem with microscopy is the same as blood samples - insufficient quantities continuously present in the blood. While visual identification is more definitive simply due to the variability of the reaction to antibody sensitivity and the spirocette will look the same whether the body has reacted to the pathogen, or if the correct specific reactive reagent is chosen, it can take a long time of searching to find them if they are hiding. Urine testing for shed odpC seems to be the most promising for borrelia.
