All I really meant though was that I didn't think it was considered terribly specific for nerves, not that it wouldn't help anyone as an individual. That's really cool though I may need to push this one further.
I understood exactly what you meant and my thoughts were the same about
Dan Shen not being specific for nerves.
After I re-read the Materia Medica on the herb, I now understand the basis of the recommendation for my nerve issues. It's all about
being specific for the types of cytokines these infections cause in our nerves.
Larger doses taken more frequently (per the advice of the Buhner-recommended herbalist I'm now using) are what seem to be closing the gap for me.
Even though I'm a small person, it seems I'm one of "those people" who need larger doses (and that's another thing Buhner mentions in his books lol)
