Factive for bartonella

Hello everyone,

Merry xmas! I'm wondering if Factive is sold in the United States? I understand this is a very risky drug. I plan on pumping mag, curcumin, and many other supplements for 1-2 weeks before starting. It's either bee venom therapy for me or factive. I'll try the bee venom in the spring when bees are more common, but I just can't get the burning out of my leg muscles and nerve pain in my legs to leave.

My LLMD prescribed the generic version of Factive and gave me a number in Canada. I'd rather pick it up in the U.S. if possible.

Any advice is always appreciated!

Factive is a flouroquinalone more for gram positive ...levaquin is the choice for bartonella ..i am trying bee venom and zith and rifampin and its working ...are you in the states ? I got bees shippwd to me this week ..its nice to start in winter and build up to when they are hot in the summer ..i am 1 year in and have had much improvement. ..using herbs and abx but bvt people say it makes biofilms stronger ...start with some propolis and bee pollen and royal jelly now ...if i can answer any questions or bee of service please ask

i tried levaquin and the tendon pain in my calves was unbearable at the 12 day mark so had to stop. i was doing myers cocktail IV's concurrently to try and minimize but alas no. cipro is another good one for bart. i've done rifampin for 4 months and currently rifabutin/mino/bactrim for 2 months and not making much progress. maybe i got some exotic space age bug? ;)

for biofilms there are quite a few options i think the essential oils are the most potent.

Thank you everyone! He said try Factive or bee venom therapy. I'm thinking Factive, because it's like a 4th gen and the newest? Not really sure. I have read up on it with this form and some say positive, and others say if you have a bad experience it can be devasting.

I live in eastern PA. The leg muscles, twitching, and nerves were the first and the hardest for more to get rid of. Maybe I'll look into ordering some bees. I'm very nervous about Factive. They say 1-3 months.

To be honest I don't even know if my LLMD new what I have. I think I convinced him it is Bartonella. Had Lyme when I was 18. No symptoms after 3 weeks of treatment. Got bit by a tick in NJ 2 years ago, pulled the tick off a day later, and immediately my leg muscles tightened and over time it got worse with twitching and nerve pain.

I'm going to Jackson Hole WY for snowboarding in a month. I can tell you this. I bet I'll be one of the first people with chronic Lyme to go snowboarding in the backcountry of Jackson Hole I don't even want to think of how sore I am going to be haha. Im one where I push everything to the limit and will go till my legs give out! Life is short ;)
