looking for llmd in 518 area NY

We may need to switch doctors unfortunately. My son sees a llmd pediatrician , however as of jan 1 the office is no longer taking insurance , instead we will be charged 6.00 per minute. Could anyone recommend any other llmds in the 518 area code that may accept ins.? Looking in the Albany, Schenectady, Glens Falls, Saratoga areas. I still have to check with current dr. as to how this 6 dollar thing works. Do i have to pay for my time sitting and waiting for them to come into the room? Or does my payed time start when they enter? I would hope im not being charged while waiting. I dont want to change but i cant afford 180.00 for 30 minutes if half of that is waiting. :-(

I hope you get some good recommendations for another LLMD.

To answer your question - No you shouldn't be paying for your time waiting for the Dr. to see you.

I doubt if that would be legal?

Charging by the minute. That's a new one. Actually $360 an hour for an LLMD sounds quite reasonable.

I know a few but we're not allowed to list doctors and all of them are a lot more than $360.00.

There is a Dr. B. (rhymes with rock) in Rhinebeck who is really good but not sure if he takes insurance. I think Dr. S (5 letters ends in M) in Albany may take insurance.

I know of dr. B .my mother has gone to him. Do not know the other dr. Can you private message the name if possible?
