I don't know, maybe? Though, while I don't mean to disparage your thoughts on the matter, because your proposed reasoning is a lot more interesting than mine, I feel as though experiences similar to what you're describing are, to keep it simple, the infections making us crazy.
To explain the British soldier in a past life, our brains have stored up a lot of information, conscious and subconscious. Let's say he caught part of a documentary on Britain's role in WW2 a year ago, and it's just now resurfacing? It throws your mind out of wack, and things don't do what they should. You could call that "brain fog," depressing, pessimistic worldviews, suicidal thoughts, offbeat thinking patterns in general. I mean, I've thought about
murdering people, and for no reason - they did not upset me at all. I wonder what it would be like to drive my car into a ditch.
Granted, there is a spiritual connection, as well, and I am not an expert, so there could be some tunnel to remnants of past lives or what have you. I'll admit, I've felt certain ways about
who I could have been before, who I could have been, if not for Lyme - have seen greatness for myself, touching millions of lives, with words. Is there ground to it, or just delusions?
To comfort you, there shouldn't be any judgment, from anyone, at least not in a negative way. We're sick people, physically, mentally, and, again, spiritually. I've said it before, there's no part of us that is not affected by Lyme/co in some way. Lyme's getting everywhere, somehow. I'm sure everyone here can relate to some degree. They might not have mental dysfunctions of the same variety - strange, dark - but something to where they could go, "okay, I can understand someone's Lyme manifesting in that way."
Take what I said earlier, I'm a nice guy, for the most part, and I don't want to kill people, or myself, but my mind still goes there. That's not me. Just goes to show what this crap does to you, beyond just the aches, pains, etc.
That said, who really knows? Maybe you're right?
edit: Either way, keep pushing for health. Best wishes to you and your fam. :D
