A lot of us here are getting pretty pissed and are now very skeptical as to how we got Lyme.
Not to mention this location is in a very densely populated area. Beyond excusable.

Isn't it too late to care? There are public records you can access on the web that contain the sloppy handling incident reports. If the labs were doing work authorized by our Government, good luck to anyone trying to make them accountable.

It's hard enough trying to do what we can/have to, to become healthy again. I'm beyond wasting energy wanting to persecute people. If I wasn't I've got a long list of physicians I'd like to have a go at first.


But, I don't even have the ammunition to tell them in a legally convincing way that they they were wrong.

Wow....these people have no conscience whatsoever. This is only one of the organizations facilities. I wonder how many others are out there to put us at risk.

Its called rocky mountain spotted fever but would hurt their tourism if they admitted its in the rockys ...it probably helps that the masses can be placated and taxed for their copius use of mj products to quell their lyme symptoms and complaining ..1/2 jk

Hadn't read this CO one, but for others not aware, USAToday has done a whole series on biolab mishaps that really does not seem to alarm the public. Even here, if weaponized germs are mentioned, it gets tinfoil hat attention.

So much of the public is clueless re botched experimentation & effects from the war machine. We are fed news like N Korea & when sources do publish these very important stories, they are overshadowed by Kardashians or such.

Hey I live down here in Colorado Springs. Years ago I visited a facility in Fo Co for my job and met someone working with tick vector illnesses. They said there was no Lyme in CO. (I was sick before I moved here). I knew differently because I had three co workers (hikers mostly) who had Lyme.

Are you in Fort Collins? Do you have a good LLMD? This is sad and maddening. Maybe the medical community will be forced to deal with it.

No lyme in colorado they say....whatever.......BUT they dont even bother to mention Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever......wow.

I know two people who got RMSF on outdoor rec vacations in Colorado no long ago. Its pretty common. They were both treated soon (they were aware) after and fortunately dont have any remaining symptoms last I heard. SD- Black Hills region has RMSF too.

Same here in Arkansas, Astro. "no Lyme in Arkansas" just isn't going away - even though the Universities in this state have conducted researches that prove it is here, as well as many other tick-borne infections. They just bury their heads deeper and deeper. The politicians lying to their constituents in order to not get 'cornered' on this subject is alive and well also. I've tried every year to talk to them, and every year they get more and more obnoxious in finding ways to avoid me.

Randy- Any grassroots lyme groups or even associations in CO, Denver must have something and a web site I would think- that is your first step to finding LLMD's.

Over here, Ws and Mn have lyme associations that pressured the states years ago into acknowledgment- for the public to know.

Even the heath dept both at the st fair had lyme info, as well as the other tick infections found here. Both state health depts and even some counties mention it on their summer web-sites (outdoor vacation areas) and brochures ect. No actual signs at trail heads like in Cal though.

Hi Lymecoach! I live in briargate C Springs. I have found this forum is more helpful than the Colorado networks. But Traveler's links may provide you what your looking for. You can inbox me if you want more info.

Randy, I've found it tough to find what I need all in one place. I go to a DO in C Springs who knows quite a bit about Lyme. He actually is willing to learn and has my Buhner book. But we are lacking in this state. I also visit a clinic in Golden for other treatments.

I'm in with Lyme warriors meet up but nothing is happening there. There is only a functional doc up here and he is not that good he doesn't do individual care plans. I know more than he does. And the springs and golden are several hours from me. I've thought about making my own group since I know there are other lymies around here.

The only reason I started traveling to Golden, my son in law worked at a wellness clinic that knew something about Lyme, and he got me in without retesting everything- I hate when a clinic wants to retest everything. And so I've gone there for Myers cocktail and ultra violet light blood irradiation. I wasn't suggesting you travel to COS or Golden, btw. I understand distance. I was just stating how difficult it is to find good help here. I have a friend who spent lots of money and time traveling to a guy in Denver. She didn't get well. She is now making progress going to a simple naturopath. In my opinion the help is uneven here and the patient has to work hard to find what is needed.

Pretty much what I do. If I need something I know I have a DO that understands. My hubby pushes me to get extra treatments now and then; but I feel like I know more about Lyme than the medical personnel in the clinic in Golden (the exception may be the very brilliant head doc which I've never seen). And I now know more of the advancements in Lyme than my DO. But at least he is willing to learn and has my Buhner book.

Yeah it's no wonder whitecoats know nothing. Lyme research makes my head explode some days lol oh wait maybe that's just a parasite having lunch gggrr
