I've been having strange episodes where i feel lightheaded, confused, and shakey. I can't tell if this is a low blood sugar issue (because it feels like that) or it's a herx. They don't last very long but they're uncomfortable.
Before I had lyme i would occasionally feel this too but rarely. It's happened the last few days and i'm a bit confused.
Anybody have any insight? or have experienced anything similar?
It's part of what I've been dealing with on a daily basis lately, but I'm not attributing it to low blood sugar, because stress has been bringing it on, or another issue I'm having with my oxygen. I'm having mine tested tomorrow though anyway.
One way, in the meantime before you see your Doc, to find out if it's your blood sugar, eat some protein, (not sugar as what used to be suggested for low blood sugar) and see if you feel better in about
30 minutes. If it is low blood sugar, the protein will bring it up slowly and level off, instead up getting right up and then drop down again.
