I'll tell you all the stuff I'm reading about CBD Oil this stuff is pretty amazing. I'll be taking a full dropper 2x/day also adding 3-5 drops of DMSO to each. Also doing 2 grams Vit C at same time along with Magnesium and some Sodium Bicarbonate (Sod Bicarb and Magnesium are critical to proper cell communication and functioning whereas DMSO is a carrier that will vastly improve penetration into the cells where spirochetes and other little nasty critters can hide and have some immunity from your abx/herbs).

Will be doing this for at least a month to gauge progress. Will keep everyone posted!

I tried CBD pills. I wasn't impressed but I hope it helps you! I read wonderful things about it too.

I'm trying to get educated on CBD. I assume you mean non-THC. And what % or mg of cbd is it? My ND rec'd 1 gram dropper (which has 38mg of CBD). My lyme doc rec'd around 250 mg (not sure of CBD mg though).
Also, what strain is yours?
I would like to try it for my nerve pain.

The CBD oil (from hemp) is very low THC - doesn't make you high.

I took it for several weeks...with no results...but have read testimonies from others' who have had great results.

I probably should have stuck it out longer.

I hear a lot of people saying good things about CBD oil but is there a site to learn more about how to use it or even purchase it?

I didn't have any results either. I feel like MMJ is kind of overrated as far as herbs go. I don't doubt its vast medical potential but the internets "cure-all" attitude doesn't help refine it's indications very well. I sincerely hope it works for you though. Pretty safe herb so i'd be happy if it fit into my protocol

I'm doing the tincture not the pills. It's all about whether you are getting the extract from leaf or something else (you want leaf) as well as the mg per ml content. Also it really helps to have a carrier like DMSO which makes it much more effective.

The one I'm on is from Charlotte's Web it has 10mg per dropper. It's not a lot but with DMSO and pure leaf extract its much more potent when compared to other brands/forms.

If I like the stuff I'll end up finding another source because Charlotte's Web is ridiculously expensive for the amount you get per $1 spent.

Everything I've read about MMJ has been that the hemp doesn't work as well. The THC is part of the active ingredients that are needed. You can get different strains so that you don't get the head high, but you can get the ones that only help relieve pain and relax the body. But - you need to know that the people you are buying it from really truly know what they are selling (the different strains and how the body responds) to make sure that you get what you need.



And, I wanted to say Hi to phixgrrrl!! Welcome to our board! I'm sure that you will find that many of the things we deal with are similar here, and I would encourage you to do some reading to see what you might find that will be of help to you as well!

Ive heard different things...some say pure CBD is excellent, some need the THC added. But as Rikky said, I think its about how many mg you're getting, as I also asked.
I heard the indicas or indica dominants are the highest in CBD.
As far as forms the droppers are best?
Thats the first I've heard of the DMSO. Can it be helpful even w/out it?

DMSO is the jam its got so many benefits I think everyone should take it as at least a carrier to improve the penetration and effectiveness of all other things you take. Its much more well known and used overseas cause they don't have as much of a monopolistic grip on the drug industry.

My husband swears by it...he's used it to 'fix' his back...after a car accident.

I did try it - in cream form on my left hand.

The one thing he (hubby) always stressed (with the topical application) - is make sure everything is clean...because the DMSO penetrates the blood/brain barrier...and can take contaminants with it.

I would think that caution would apply to oral administration?

that's a good brand girlie. any dmso that crystallizes below 67 degrees is the real deal. when you take it internally you don't take a lot i'm doing 3-5 drops with my CBD oil that's it.
