Hi cece22 - I'm sorry you're feeling sad.
The testing is not accurate/reliable....especially from a lab that doesn't specialize in tick borne disease testing.
If you want to pursue testing where many of us have...and many LLMD's use...try the Igenex lab.
You can call them and order a test kit...they will send it to you and you need a Dr. to sign the lab req.
If you get the Lyme WB Igm and IgG it costs $210.
www.igenex.com/Website/Also, another thing to consider it that when we've had lyme...often for many months or years..our immune system isn't functioning properly. In order for the test to show positive...or reactive - it requires our immune system to mount a response to the bacteria....unfortunately that doesn't always happen..
So, you could have lyme disease - even with those results.
What is the range for the Lyme AB (you said yours is 1.26)
So, I'm assuming you have symptoms - which prompted the testing? A LLMD will do a clinical diagnosis...testing is used to back up symptoms.
So, do you have symptoms?
Are they multi-systemic?
Did you ever have a tick on you?...was it attached?
Did you ever have a bulls-eye rash?
Here's a questionnaire you might want to do
