Best ABX for Bart and Babs that penetrate the brain

I don't know yet if I have Babesia...but what helped with my pressure in my head behind my eyes Minocycline -I'm thinking because of it's good penetration through the b/b barrier.

You can combine mino with the rifampin...a good duo for bart...and lyme, too.

Maybe add something like Artemisinin..or artesunate for babs...

I wouldn't do Mepron with Rifampin. though.

someone posted that Artesunate (and I think Artemisinin, too) have a short half-life..of 1 or 2 hours...so you can take it first...wait a couple hours and then do the Rifampin and mino.

Good info. Well I just started Doxy so I want to at least give it some time before changing but adding rifampin to it may be more effective. If not I can change the combo.

I also get what feels like air in my eyes. I don't know what causes that but Its accompanied with blurriness a lot.

So far, the best and most effective combo for me that did wonders for babesia, lyme, bartonella is mepron 2 tsp twice a day, 500mg azithromycin, bacterium DS twice a day and ceftin 500mg twice a day. Adding the Bactrim was a powerful boost.

I suggest that you do half dose of mino for several days...to a week...before doing the twice daily dosing...

Thanks Rikky. Yeah I realize the gut causes a lot of head issues but this constant clicking and popping noise is specifically in my ears and around my temples. It also feels like things keep coming out of my brain. I think I have a serious parasite infection because everyday I keep seeing things come out that shouldn't but I cannot get the upper hand for some reason. I eat well, take diatomaceous earth, probiotics, coconut oil ( a lot) olive oil a lot), ginger, apple cider vinegar (a lot), eat healthy nuts, grapefruit, lemon and lime water, green apple, avocado, good meats, celery cucumber, carrots, you name it.

I have been sort of with what I'm taking but what should I add. See my previous comment I already take a lot of things to expel parasites and I see them coming out so I must be doing something right. I guess I could always add another product.

I re-read your posts quickly - I may be missing something...but is the DE what you're using for the parasites? If so, I don't think that's enough.

You can buy formulas at the health food store...or online. They often have wormwood and black walnut in them

Just from my own experience, I think the best abx are bactrim, mepron, doxy and rifampin, though I see some don't think mepron is a good combo with Rifampin. I have to say that I feel better these past couple of weeks than I have in many months. I am taking one 100 mg doxy twice per day since and two 300 mg rifampin once per day since mid-April. I was also taking 500 mg Tindamax twice per day , but this was stopped in mid-December and replaced with two Bactrim twice per day. I also take two tsps of Mepron twice per day since mid-July. My night sweats are almost gone, my moods are much better, I am no longer tearful and I feel a lot less confused. My handwriting has also improved, so my motor skills seem better. The herxes a month in were rough. My diagnosis for my last visit was bartonella, babesia and lyme.
