I have had Lyme disease for over 20 years, but was just diagnosed. One of the things that I am really struggling with is being overheated. Every morning when I get ready to go to work, I end up completely drenched with sweat. On my face, my back, my chest and believe it or not my feet. Is there anything I can do for that?

I think when I asked about
this, I was told that drinking Peppermint tea would help.
I go through this every summer, mainly. The bacteria do seem to mess around with our body 'thermostat'.

I don't usually get the drenching sweats talked about
with Babesia until I'm in treatment for it, but I do have the 'being warmer than everyone else in the house' going on.
This might help you narrow down if Babesia is a possibility for you:

What do you do to knock back the yeast?

One of our mods made a very cohesive plan and it's posted on the 2nd page of our intro.
Ooops, the link is no longer relevant, but the info on our 2nd page of "New to Lyme?" is very helpful.

I have the same problem but in the opposite direction - I am always cold. I understand how bad it can be. I beleive that Lyme hit my brain and centre for regulating temperature. I don't know if and how it is possiblre to repair it. I am still searching for something that would ease terrible coldness I feel all the time.

I'm on the cold side too and I'm pretty sure it's thyroid related like my former doctor said. Heavy metals are probably to blame, blocking the thyroid med. We were just starting to work with that when he had to quit his practice.
My daughter has babesia and gets feverish and sweaty. A Bab is helping her a lot... when she takes it.
