Heart palpations back with a vengeance over the weekend. Have slowed. Sometimes I feel them in my neck??? Have not had this bad in years. Off antibiotics for about 4-years. Whoozy at times. Total fatigue. Feels like chest is kind of tight and shallow breathing. Took aspirin driving home a couple of evenings because I wondered if what i was feeling was my heart. Coffee intake has not changed. Couple of cups daily. Bitten in 1986 or 87. Positive blood for Lyme about 4-years later. I also have had acid indigestion and burning when eating some foods. On diflucan now as other symptoms -digestive are suggestive of yeast. I get sore muscels with least bit of exertion.

I think you should consider consulting LLMD. Possibly starting the treatment again. Maybe you have relapse.

I don't know if palpitations are considered Lyme carditis. But I do know that Lyme can interfere with the autonomic nervous system which definitely causes palpitations and fatigue and that out of breath feeling. I get all of those symptoms plus the tight chest feeling daily. It's a gross feeling. You might want to consider retreating, I know we can all get reoccurances of Lyme after we hit remission. But if the heart symptoms are new, it's always wise to get checked out to make sure all is well. Palps are usually completely benign if highly annoying but you don't want to take any chances with your heart.

Lyme and bartonella can both affect our heart.

I think you should see a LLMD and get back on treatment. Sounds like a relapse.
