Unfortunateevent, In the Igenix kit are papers for the lab and for the doctor. You need to have a doctor fill out what labs are to be drawn along with his signature. This paper is taken to the lab so they can draw the blood. The lab needs to spin the blood which will take about an hour. Have this blood drawn on a Monday and take it to Fed-ex the same day. You don't want the blood sitting in the mail over the weekend. You can call Igenix to see what tests to ask for for your situation.

I was wrong! I'm so glad! Today at my follow up he told me a treatment plan, I told him I had a good reaction to a zpack, so we came to an agreement! I do all the natural do stuff he suggests, he prescribes Zithromycin 250 mg 2x day. I bought everything and the naturals there ended up about 150$ so not such a scam like I thoight!! I'm trying it all praying this will be it for me. I'm so thankful that you have all helped me so much. Thank you! Seriously! I'll let you know how and what seems to work smile

i'm glad you're feeling better about your Lyme Dr. now.

Question: Is that all you're taking for abx..is Zithromycin? Was there a discussion about adding something to it?

You are taking homeopathic remedies as well, right?

Kinesiology found my bart n giardia before lab did ...vials also dx my fam before labs too....try holding your arm strong while holding sugar its impossible

I'm so glad to hear that your doc had a treatment plan ready for you!! Congrats!

None of this is easy, and we try to be here to help others get through it, especially if we have insight into the process that the doctor may be following.

Those drs should lose their licenses. It's so offensive and stupid to do it to a person who is sick.Touching a tube to see if u have an infection is just why people do not take us serious. Ask for tests or diagnosis by symptoms do not push this voodoo BS to impress the sick people.

Robbie, my thoughts on that lean towards skeptical, but in this case if she's getting the help she wants, I'll withhold further judgement. I know nothing about it, personally.

The fact that they have come up spot on, to me sounds like how fortune tellers manage to 'know things' about us.

Do these practitioners get to hear any of our symptoms at all, or look over any paperwork we've filled out before running these tests?

Anyhow, like I said, as long as the patient gets useful help, that's the most important thing.

Not in all cases. From what I understand (which is very limited) there are some who are very good at this. They have to have the proper kit which cost over $10K. If a doctor has the right kit or tools and knows exactly what they are doing this can be extremely helpful.

I’m sorry you had such a bad experience, I feel your pain! My visit was different but basically he didn’t even perform physical examination and I think that’s a big mistake especially because I have rashes.

Anyway, I’m glad you feel better about your doctor now and that he made a treatment plan for you! Good luck!

That's how I see it. If a person has hiv, sífilis, pneumonia or any other bacteria or virus I doubt that a Dr will come with a tube and ask the person to touch it. Why? Because it's crazy... well lyme disease is already considered a no disease and then you have doctors doing that kind of thing... believe me when I say it makes us look like a bunch of "fakes". It's common sense... well a good dr if he can not get a positive test he will treat by symptoms not that tube thing. I'm sure he is treating her cause she is sick I would treat her too.
