Have you ever had this symptom?

Does anyone ever get blood in their nose? Like strands of blood when they blow their nose?

It's interesting because around 2006 shortly before my second set of chronic lyme induced symptoms, I would get terrible nose bleeds until one day I had this massive nose bleed and never had one since. It went everywhere, and ever since my sense of smell has reduced a lot, and the nose cavity is really dry and coarse.

I've noticed 2 weeks or so into the herbal treatment there is strands of blood in my snot, like there used to be prior to that massive nose bleed, and I have this wet sort of fresh and open sensation in my nasal passage. It is as though it is moist there now. As well as this my lips are no longer dry and peeling. They are smooth now and slippery. It feels amazing. I can purse them together and slide them over each other without them feeling all dry and cracked. Not 100% mind you but the majority of the time they keep themselves moist.

Is anyone able to tell me what this is, or could be related to? I think the dryness of the lips and the nasal passage are related in some way.

I still feel great and feel a need to tell everyone how good I feel

Seems to be improving for the better. I didn't know dry nasal passage can cause a nose bleed.

Also not had a headache since starting the treatment.

My son used to get them occasionally when we had a dry spell during the winter.

Hmmmm.....things sound like they are opening up. Have you ever been tested for mold or mycotoxins?

No but I will be. I wanted to treat first and then test for the co.infections. There is a mold test?

I had sinus problems with my lyme and I got nose bleeds frequently in winter when the air is very dry here.

Not much humidity here. It's the altitude.

If your nose/nasal passages feel clear now, then it's not mold issues in your sinuses.

If you are dealing with dry nasal passages, try using a Q-tip/cotton swab and dipping it into coconut oil and lightly rubbing that inside your nose - not too far though! You don't want to get the oil in the sinuses. I do this any time I get a really dry nose for more than a day or two. I also get dry ears that will itch like crazy - a very light coating of coconut oil helps every time.
