Any Lyme literate doctors on Long island / NY

Hello every one! After suffering months of this unknown disease, I am starting to believe it is Lyme. I've been doing tons of research -- and it seems like its hard to find a lyme literate doctor -- any one in the long island / new york area have one they love / recommend? I am also going to a homeopathic doctor in a few weeks as well.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I'm sick and tired of doctors telling me I have anxiety and I'm depressed. I'm freakin' sick! It's crazy. Anyway -- sending love and positivity to all of you - you guys are all so tough.

^^^ Dbl, we don't post LLMD names on any open access places. Our doctors are being persecuted for following ILADS treatment guidelines instead of IDSA treatment guidelines. This is why they are so hard to find, they have to essentially stay 'in hiding' to avoid being falsely prosecuted/charged with mistreating patients. We have lost all too many (at least several each year) to these tactics.

For information on finding a​n ILADS ​(International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society)​ trained​ Lyme Literate Medical Doctor(LLMD) in your area, you will need to enable your email option in your profile in order to receive any recommendations, as we don't allow doctor's names and contact info to be posted on the forum for several reasons. You can enable your email option in your profile, under 'edit profile'. Be sure to click the submit button to actually save your preference.

You ​​can send me an email by clicking on my screen name or the small blue envelope under my screen name. I may have contact information for some LLMD's in your area as well.​ ​Please include your state and area that you would like to find a LLMD in and I will see how close I can get to your location.​

You can go to The Lyme Disease Association and search for LLMD's 3 times in a month. You have to register first. Here is the link:

You will want to find an ILADS trained doctor, as ID Docs (Infectious Disease Doctors) as well as many others, believe Lyme is hard to catch and easy to treat, and don't believe in the reality of chronic Lyme.
