Thought I'd make a post on topical pain relieve, feel free to add.
Even though I do lots of myofascial release, I sometimes I over-exercise (I'll never learn), thus will have very sore muscles and need anything that will help.
Most creams, gels ect dont go very deep, so I use Arnica Montana gel to drive whatever else I'm applying deeper.
I recently discovered a topical NSAID, 1% Diclofenac Sodium Topical gel, not spectacular but is does help some. Similar to Aspirin cream, just a little stronger. Both a little better on the surface that arnica Montana.
Magnesium oil helps but is very inconvenient and messy - must wipe of dried salt after 20 min.
I have a little Morton Epsom lotion which was really good and now discontinued, unless you want it for $40-50 on ebay (was $4)..
Found several other epsom salt creams only on-line. Dont understand why no stores stock this since it works.
Tried DMSO solvent- funny, it does almost nothing for me. And scary since it drives anything on the skin into your blood.
Anything else you know that works?
Note: even though I have been stronger than ever, I over exercised again, hip/leg muscles are tight, thus pulling on lower vertebrata- not sciatica, but almost.
Many peoples blow back pain is cause by other attaching muscles pulling on it- vertebrata are the weakest like- so that's what becomes painful. The worst type of "refereed" pain.
