I find it helps to find the humor in life. Please add your funnies.

Last night I was running an errand, and I saw a banner under a furniture store sign. I had to read it 3 times because I swore it said "FURNITURE + BUGS SALE".

What it really said was:
"FURNITURE + RUGS SALE".

Lyme brain?!

Hey Kat, that is funny to me because I have the same issue on a daily basis... Reading words that aren't there. In my work today I read the sentence "...when it acquired certain assets and operations..." as "when it acquired certain seeds and operations"

My daily exercise is walking around looking for things that I have set down somewhere. I swear someone is moving things around on me. But I am usually the only one home during the day.

I also forget the names for things. Like last night I asked my husband to put the grill in where we keep the cars. Or the thing that sweeps the floor isn't working - roomba. I could go on and on. It is always a big hoot for my husband and son.

During the holidays I needed to slice some cheese. I couldn't find the slicer I was looking for. But I found this tool that worked really well! I couldn't think of what it might be but it worked. A few hours later it came to me. It was my European style potato peeler!

This morning I asked my husband: "Have you taken your pillows?"
I had to repeat my question several times before he got it.
Instead of "pills" I used "pillows"

I was halfway to the train this morning when I realized I was wearing my slippers. I had to race back home to change into shoes and just made my train!

I'm with you...BAD day today. But, a month or so ago I was at work and when going out to grab lunch I put on two different shoes on at work, and walked a few blocks in the city to get lunch in them. Hard to believe because one was suede with a thicker heel, and the other was leather with a wedge heel. So embarrassing!

Well, spelling has been an issue for me today -thanks brain fog.

But, I have found humor in this! I was emailing someone, and thankfully I usually read back over my email before I send it -as I had missed the letter C in changing doctors..... so I had written hanging doctors!!

Now, my morbid sense of humor kicked in! turn and I"m thinking, well, that may be an alternative too!!

I'm so frustrated with the medical establishment, "hanging" doctors is pretty funny Traveler!

I like the one above about "have you taken your pillows?" too.

I was really hurting this weekend, and pain is better but exhausted and foggy today. The funnies help.

On a the Food page of the Today show it says "Try these family friendly vegan falafel sliders and ice cream sandwiches" I thought who the heck would eat that? It sounds disgust....oh two separate things.

I think we all see things wrong. I find that vastly entertaining.

I win today.

I was going out and noticed my neighbors' bags and luggage on the sidewalk by their car. Thought I'd stick around to ask if they need help - going in or out? They said they were headed out of town for a funeral. We made small talk and I left with, "okay, have fun!"

I caught myself and apologized... it's not my fault funeral starts with FUN.

Thank goodness for hardwood floors and wool socks so that with my super stiff legs and back I can slide around instead of trying to bend my legs to walk from room to room!

Another reading one: I get emails from the ASPCA, and the one I got this AM subject said "Help End Dog Fighting...". At first glance I read "Help End Dog FOOD Fighting"
