Everyone's different, therefore different protocols will work for different people, and be largely ineffective for others. Common herbal protocols to look into would be Buhner's protocol (check out his book Healing Lyme) and Cowden's protocol.
Cowden sells their protocol in a nice set on the Nutramedix website, but it is very expensive.. close to $300 per month..
Buhner doesn't sell his protocol in sets (you've gotta weigh the positives and negatives. You miss out on convenience, but at least he's not just trying to make a buck by selling you an overpriced set). You have to buy everything independently, which gives you an opportunity to find out what will/won't work for you.
Other natural treatment options to look into (that I've heard have been successful) are Japanese Knotweed, Cat's Claw, and Milk thistle (protects the liver I'm pretty sure). You could also look into BVT, or bee venom therapy, as some have found it forces the Lyme into remission.
As everyone on here will tell you, start low and slow. Whatever you end up trying, make sure your body can handle it. Low dosages, and increase slowly..
Hope this offers some insight, I'm new to this too. Just ordered my first month of Cowden.. will let you know how it works.
