My 10 yr old DD took the BRAVO yogurt for 1 1/2 years. We took a two month break and are now on the suppositories. In my daughter's case, both forms have worked wonders for us. However, our primary purpose for the yogurt two years ago was to treat her anxiety, attention, and growth problems (because my doctor believes the gut has such an impact on our health). We didn't even know she had lyme back then. We continued with the yogurt for so long b/c she was severely underweight and the yogurt helped to heal her stomach and put her back on the growth charts. The suppository has helped lift her brain fog and decrease her anxiety. I can't really say what it would do for someone else b/c it is still a mystery to me as to how it really all works. I know that it has helped "cure" my friend's child with autism.
The GMAF protein in the suppositories induces the immune system. The yogurt reconstitutes the gut. The suppository boosts her immune system and acts a a natural antibiotoic. So according to her doctor, the suppositories are better for lyme patients.
