....so, I am back at square one folks...was doing quite well up until Dec. and since then, have just fallen into "that deep, dark pit" once again....so ANNOYING!! This dizziness is out of bounds today. Also, MAJOR migraines and my glaucoma is worsening. Since getting the headaches, now dizziness, the pressure and stings in the eyeballs are ridiculous..this dizziness is THE WORST..is anyone going through this at the moment? If so, what do you take to alleviate the dizziness? Since getting worse in Dec. I have upped my detoxing methods...but just getting worse everyday...it truly feels like I am back at square one....

I'm so sorry you are feeling so badly. Trust me, I know how much it sucks to be doing so well and then have the rug pulled out from under you.

What treatments have you been doing?

Most of my dizziness only went away with consistent treatment of the infections. Some things that might have helped a little (but not completely) were:
1) anti-inflammatory (because my dizziness is usually caused by swelling and fluid trapped in my ears. I use 2000 mg turmeric w/ sunflower lecithin [Curcum-Evail]).
2) prescription Meclizine (aka Dramamine Non-drowsy. My insurance covers Rx's so it was cheaper to get an Rx than buy a box at the store every 2 weeks)

My last bad dizzy spell came a week after starting abx treatment for Babesia, and has not come back in 6 weeks.

MM5 - Thanks for the support. Been doing various herbal treatments for 12 yrs. now, including frequency "zapping" and last yr. started Ozone sauna treatments

BabsB- Thanks for sharing what works for you! I am glad your dizziness is under control!

Hi Girlie! Still on herbals...increasing the Ozone sauna treatments.....trying to get at Babs and Bart STILL....what is the third one you ask about?

Are you working with a practitioner or treating on your own? I ask because my first thought was they it may be time to change things up a bit. I'm not nearly as well-versed on herbals as a lot of others here, so hopefully one of them can offer you more help.

Need, how long have you been on the current protocol of herbs? Maybe there is just a bit of tweaking that needs to be done.

Might be time to consult with an herbalist??? Just guessing.

I wish I was more helpful. My head pain and the whole head area were greatly relieved with lymph system help.

It seems that while I was treating lyme and gaining weight, it might have been lymph related.

needhelp4 - Did you relapse while you were still treating? Or did you stop treatment temporarily?

If while still treating...then you definitely need to change or add something..

I started feeling extremely ill on Dec. 25th= it was an extremely stressful day with a couple relatives and then I just rolled downhill from there...didn't help that my A-BAB and ABART ran out in early March, either....anyway, I just got them yesterday and re-started them right away...maybe will take a few days to kick in..I HOPE. I just need to get the migraines, dizziness and eye pain under control...not even thinking about this Gawd awful body itching...I am so glad you are still here, too!!XOXO

Yup, I'm still here...lol. I'm finally doing a full Babesia treatment...so we'll see what I'm 'left with' for symptoms after a good run on that.

The other thing you may want to investigate is your adrenal health. You said you crashed after some family stress - that's what happened to me as well, only I crashed so hard there was no way of not suspecting the adrenals. My adrenals crashing took my thyroid down pretty far as well. Just some things to consider.

Do remember to be careful of the herxing as you restart your treatments!

Thanks Trav! I know my thyroid is in poor condition and I suspect adrenals are in bad shape, too. I will most definitely address that! Glad you are still here, too, and Thank You for all your support! I just read you are having an especially rough time with a relative...I am so sorry....I cannot imagine, as I cannot seem to deal with stress at all lately....you are truly a very strong woman...God Bless, Trav!

Life doesn't stop so we can heal, so we have to just learn to do our best to 'roll with the punches' - and the members here have been a huge help to me and others getting through those times. The suggestions and support I have gotten from this community has no equal. smile

Let us know what you find out about your thyroid and adrenals though! There are quite a few here that are treating those conditions as well.

I'm betting it's your adrenals. I'm going through that right now. Trying to get things back to normal. Stopped hydrocortisone and went back to adrenal glandulars as I was having problems with the hydrocortisone. Anyway, I'm trying to manage the dizziness.

And typically if you are having issues with your thyroid, adrenals are often affected as well.
