lymepickle - sorry i never got an alert on the responses to this thread
i took monolaurin for several months. do be careful on how much you take, i do believe there is such a thing as taking too much of something and then causing toxicity. if i were you i would not go beyond taking 2 scopps a day.
nichostetler - really?? how is it that the acid reflux was taken care of with antibiotics? were you diagnosed with Hpylori? which ones did you take? bc i have an acid reflux issue now that i didn't have before, and i have concluded that it is possible that the lyme bacteria messed up my stomach flora. I am currently taking high doses of probiotics and fish oil along with vitamins and coq10. I ordered digestive enzymes, bc i have a feeling i am not absorbing or digesting things properly. dont know if its bc of leftover infection, or if it could be a flare or candida. but something isn't right with my stomach.
I was negative for Hpylori and I guess I cant say for sure what stopped the acid reflux. It all seemed to subside while treating lyme though. Although maybe it will come back again.
I am taking pretty much the same supplements. I have only worked up to 10 pellets of monolaurin. That stuff gives me terrible herx reactions. How do you do on it?
