I found these patient stories really insightful from people that tested positive for Bartonella.

Each of the 7 patients symptoms were a bit different!

This one in particular sounds almost exact to me and some others on here. Very heavy Neuro-Bartonella signs.

I found it very encouraging they were having treatment success for the most part.

Thanks for posting. I had the great opportunity to speak to Dr? b who runs galaxy. Amazing person!!! I used to work for a vet and she put in contact with him. So helpful. We did use galaxy for Bart test.

I am really glad this lab posted the stories ( I actually used a different lab for my tests ).

I had a real hard time believing some of the symptoms I was having were because of Bartonella, but these stories all sound oddly familiar.

Maybe that's what I have - maybe I was never bit by a tick. I've had cats all my life...many had fleas...and I was the one in the family with all the flea bites.

Also, in my adult life, we had a cat that was on the nasty side...and I had many bites...and one of our current cats gives us little nips when she's happy (love bites).

So, maybe that's why my progress is slow.....could it be possible I don't even have lyme...just bart?

My LLND and I have discussed going on rifampin if the sida acuta, houttuynia doesn't make a big dent in my suspected bart symptoms, soon.

Well I definitely have Bartonella as I have really all the symptoms that are mentioned in the stories. Geez, kinda discouraging though that some people needed retreatment a few times. Sometimes I question if I got only Bartonella? But then I realize I also have a hint of lyme too.

Bart is tough to get rid of no doubt ( Just like lyme )

I was happy to see some people are doing a lot better

Bart is double lipid enveloped gram negative tough son of a cat.throw everything you can at ..imo..hh2 ,propolis and bvt with pulsed rifampin zith seems to be denting it

I wonder how many people give up too soon...or their Dr.'s do.

They get some symptom resolution and maybe even plateau for awhile...but maybe don't continue.

I know a lady who treated for 3.5 years...and is now off all meds...and has been for close to a year now.
She said she had bart.

What if she had given up at 2 years? It's expensive, it's tiring, it wears you down...but you can't stop short.
