I have dealt with this for years.
1. I think everyone has parasites
2. They are incredibly difficult to get rid of
3. The more you rebuild your gut lining, the more exposed they become and easier to rid.
4. Testing will not show that you have them and if it does show something it won't show all the types.
I wish I could say a magic pill takes care of them all but most people have a variety and we have tried many, many different things including I think everything mentioned above. I think many of the herbs and foods mentioned work well and if you commit they can HELP. I've learned over the years it seems to be more about
management and reduction then complete elimination.
I can tell you that if you do the full GAPS diet you will start to shed them in all likelihood. DE chases them out. I actually had to stop DE because it wasn't killing just chasing, but that was while I was on GAPS. I didn't like that and it was traumatizing but I have come to accept that they are a part of life, and ignorance was bliss in a way. But I'd rather know than not, because I don't feed them sugar anymore.
How do I know we have them? I became very tuned in to both my stomach, and the toilet (for the whole family.) I could say a lot more than that but I really don't think most people want to know this. If you do want to know more, feel free to PM me. There are many ways to know yourself without tests what's going on in your body, at least to an extent. It's freaking creepy.
I am seeing some success with Young Living's Parafree. We are on that now, second month for whole family. I plan to try Biotics Research ADP possibly in the future. But we know that this is part of life, and we will always look for ways to treat and reduce and eliminate but freedom from the bad ones isn't going to happen without radical diet change, and then 6 mo to a year of committed and rotating herbal treatment.
