I was affected by barometric pressure. Where I live at about
4,000 feet elevation there are no stores. I drive either up to 7,000 elevation and shop or down to 2,000 elevation. It is weird to see the bags of tortilla chips expand or suck in because of the store I shopped at. So I know this is what happens to my body.
Mine was not just weather, it also happened to me in elevation change. Much like being in an airplane.
My fix was to only shop when I felt super good and could handle the pressure change.
When a cold front came in, I was the first to know in our family. I could actually feel it coming. There was nothing I could do to combat it but relax, do not stress and let the pressure come and go.
We had a horrific winter finally (been in a drought) and it was interesting, to say the least. Hubby is treating lyme now and he was really affected. His symptoms flared with the barometer lowering and they would go away as the barometer rose.
He did extra water - some with lemon and some with ACV. He also did teas on those cold snowy days. No a detox tea, but just a nice mellow tea like peppermint/spearmint combo.
Oh gosh, I forgot the most important part!!! Golden Milk - what a soothing afternoon treat. This recipe is the easy one. I made a paste of the turmeric and just put it in the fridge for easy making. But I found this 5 minute recipe and it is good.
