Hello all - hope everyone is hanging in there and getting ready for the summer!!
I have been popping up on here sporatically asking questions and trying to take care of the last 5% of issues with my kids and myself.
I haven't asked any questions pertaining to myself bc I pretty much know what's going on and I have been bothering several forum members privately, and I think this time around I should post this thread for two reasons, everyone who reads it may benefit, and also, I want to give the private emails a break!
So, long story short, last summer I felt the best in my life. I had zero symptoms for 4 months straight. Then the fall came and I crashed. i started eating anything I felt like it - and it all lead me down the wrong path. I am still functioning at 100% but not feeling 100%. I am starting to have food allergies - for ex. I sneeze and my eyes itch if I eat sugar, I start having to clear my throat due to mucus buildup if I eat dairy or gluten, and I get extremely bloated. Lastly, if I eat too much of any of the above (sugar, gluten dairy), an area of my tongue hurts (pinches) - weird? I know I have candida but it isn't off the charts anymore like it was, and I know I don't have active lyme or bart. How do I know? I tested treatment. I took diflucan daily for 2 weeks, did nothing. I took abart for 3 weeks, did nothing - and I increased the drops exponentially each day and no change or herx. So that's a good thing!!!
The only lyme related symptoms I have which I had for the entire time I was sick, but went away when I battled candida and have returned are two - tingling at the bottom of my feet upon waking up, and slight shoulder pain. My back also has been bothering me. This is all because of inflammation. I know it - I overloaded my body with too much food that I should not have eaten, and now my immune system is on overdrive.
I have to go on a super strict diet again. I also started taking leuricidin but that isn't doing anything either.
here is my question - besides the super strict diet (which is SO HARD bc i get SO Hungry~!), what else would anyone suggest? I am taking vitamins, fish oil, and coenzyme q.
I am sitting here trying to think of what herb might help speed the decrease in inflammation along with the diet - any thoughts?? thanks!!
oh, and is there a pill that helps with WILLPOWER? LOL - The other problem is also time - today i grabbed some gluten free crackers to bring to work, and i grabbed some cheddar cheese (big nono). The easy stuff to grab I can't/shouldn't have, and I frankly don't have the time to prepare every meal I eat!
