5 months in and going down hill

Were you in treatment for say only Lyme so far? If so, this could be Bartonella rearing it's ugly little head.

You really do need to make time to do more detoxing, it's really that important.

I do know that this is fairly normal, especially if you were only treating one of the infections. It's usually either Neuro Lyme or Bart that causes the horrid pain levels.

What all are you doing for detox? And, forgive me, but why can't you "find more time" for detoxing? It might help us come up with ideas if we understood your situation better.

What about really going after the detoxing by using things that you can just take orally - then it's a matter of being able to swallow things that you can actually take with you as you are so busy?

Do you know if you have any of the gene mutations that make detoxing so hard? That may make a difference.

And although you had negative tests for co-infections, you may still have them as the testing for co-infections is worse than it is for Lyme usually. To me, those sound like either Neuro Lyme or Bart symptoms - although I'm not a doctor.

Also, look over your protocol - are you taking or have you taken any meds for biofilms or cyst busters?

I *think* Natto is only for biofilms?

Does your doctor suspect Bart or other infections - even though you have had negative tests?

Have you talked to your doctor and asked if they would be willing to change up your treatment to see if that's what's needed?

Do you know if you have any of the gene mutations that make it harder for us to detox? If so, then you need to be on certain supplements to help your body "make those connections" so that it will be easier for your body to rid itself of those toxins.

I would suggest that you use alpha lipoic acid (a precursor to glutathione in the liver) or get some glutathione and use it.

Activated charcoal or other binders are really helpful for most that are having trouble detoxing well enough - but they can cause increased constipation, which will allow toxins to be reabsorbed through the intestinal walls, so do be careful to drink lots of water if you use them.

I use Quercetin as it helps with digestion and is a mast cell stabilizer.
I use Dandelion tincture to help detox my liver better.
Red root to help keep the lymphs moving.
I also use Yogi brand detox tea (original flavor) to help detox my liver and kidneys better. If I'm leaving the house soon, I have a drink container that I put my hot tea in and add ice cubes and drink it cold later.


For anxiety, there are things you can use - either pharma or herbal, the choice would be yours. Let us know your preferences so we can make suggestions.

Anti-inflammatories - the same as with anxiety meds - either pharma or herbal, but they could help ease the pain.

If it's nerve pain - lion's mane may be of help.
If it's muscle pain, be sure you are taking a good quality magnesium, and see if your doctor has suggestions. Anti-inflammatories may also help this.

Do you use the Epsom salt foot soaks? They can be pretty relaxing and it only takes 10 - 15 minutes and can be done just before bed, or whenever you can squeeze one in.

I'm sure others will be along soon to add in their suggestions too - or maybe they have while I've been typing this response? LOL!

I'm about 5 months in too. Seeing some nice improvements, still having a hard time though. I'm doing my best to stay positive, focus on the good, and keep moving. But...I still go through those time when I think its hopeless, that I will be like this forever. It doesn't happen as much as it used too, but sometimes.

We have to do our best to stay positive and keep up faith in healing.

If you don't have faith in your doctor, you cant have faith in your healing right?
maybe its time to look for a new doctor?

When I first moved here, the property that I bought had not been lived on in quite a few years, and the neighbors were all quite a ways away (rural farming community) and it was rumored that a black panther was roaming the hills here. I can't verify that it was a black panther, but it was definitely a big cat - with a baby. What I saw was from a far enough distance that I could only verify that it was a big cat - but that sqawl/scream!!! Sent shivers up my spine!

Big cat - I would encourage you to check into that other doctor. They may or may not be any better, but it will give you some perspective on what's out there, and it could be just the LLMD for you! You simply won't know without checking it out!

bigcat, consider iv rocephin. It's a pain to get the pic line in and out, and it's expensive, but sometimes that's what it takes.
