• Start using the sauna in short 10 to 20 minute increments at 100°F. If your temperature goes over 100°F stop for the day. If you weigh less after a sauna, you did not drink enough water to compensate for the loss. Over the course of several days or weeks, advance to an hour at 130°F. If you cannot take attain that in one session, you may leave it any time, shower off toxins, and sauna again in the same or next day. Warning: you should stop any time you feel increased headache nausea vomiting diarrhea forceful pounding heart fast heart rate irregular heart rate shortness of breath dizziness disorientation weakness mobile muscle cramps muscle spasms or twitching
• Start with 50 to 100 mg of niacin vitamin B3 before sauna. Each day the dose is the same until flushing, redness, burning, or tingling from histamine really stops. Then it can be increased 50-100 mg.
Mandatory before each session totaling half an hour is to drink 1 to 2 quarts of water and take one or two chelated liquid multiple minerals, (source: Carlson), 1 to 2 teaspoons 18% magnesium chloride solution (Pain and stress center), ½ to 1 teaspoon of Tri-salts (Biotech or American environmental health foundation)
• take in to the sauna a large clean bath towel to continually wipe the sweat from your body to prevent it from being reabsorbed. Other towels for the floor and to sit on to absorb the sweat. Take water to drink.
• With any adverse symptoms, lie down and get your feet up and drink 2 to 4 glasses of water and ½ to 1 teaspoon of tri-salts. Tri-salt powder from the American environmental health foundation; contains 329 mg calcium, 687 mg sodium, and 652 mg potassium per teaspoon. If you cannot figure out how to correct an ill feeling from doing a sauna within 24 hours, get your RBC minerals assayed through your doctor, meta-metrics 800-221-4640.
• It takes a year or longer of daily or every other day saunas to completely get rid of stored chemicals causing disease. Then it is necessary to do them at least twice a week for life.
