So for as long as I can remember people have asked me why my pupils are so dialated (doctors, friends, family - they have all noticed it).

This dialation was present when I've been off medication and on medication. No difference at all.

So I went to see an eye doctor recently to get fitted for contact lenses and get the dimensions (that's a whole other story for right now) I want to order contact lenses for light sensitivity and they are only sold online through a special start-up company.

She saw my eyes and said they were dialated enough that she didn't have to put the drops in! She said she's never seen anyone so severe as me. Doctors seem to be clueless about sensitivity to light.

Ny brief history: I'm 37. I got sick at 14--diagnosed Lyme, Bart Babesia in 2006. I've been on a lot of antibiotics and they haven't help my "interstitial cystitis" nor my eyes); recently diagnosed with a virus that could be causing my bladder issues

I know of a specialist that my doctor recommends but I don't know anything about "eye rehabilitation" - anyone heard of it?

Sorry about the complications! I don't have any info to offer, just wanted to bump your thread for more views. I had severe sensitivity to light and other eye issues, including interstitial cystitis, which cleared up with yeast/fungal overload treatment so that's something you can look into. My bet is - if that might be an issue for you it's likely not the only issue.

for me it was bartonella and toxoplasmosis . have you used rifampin or tobramycin? i am using bee venom eyedrops with bvt with great success it is effective on many viruses too

anecdotally one of the fellow apitherapists at the conference had the sensitivity so bad he would have to wear welding goggles out and only could tolerate 1 candle in the basement .after 18 months of stinging he was down to rosy glasses in cali sun .his shingles went away also .so maybe the simian viruses cmv ebv hh2 hh6 are at play here
