I got the i.h.a instead. What's ur take on only taking isatis short term since it can destroy gut bacteria? I'm gearing up to go after Bart and myco with the iha. Isatis, houttuynia and alchornea along with sida plus.
It sounds like a good combo. I wish I was versed enough in the herbs to really know. I was impressed with the immensely broad spectrum of activity of Isatis.
I have only been using it for a fairly short term. It feels as if gut healing is taking place. The two trouble spots in my GI tract are pains that dont migrate and they have improved immensely.
I cant say the improvement is related to Isatis but it very well could be.
Rebuilding gut flora is such an important aspect to complete and lasting healing. My favorite way of doing so is unpeeled veggies with resistant starches. I suspect much of what we need clings to the skin of veggies, so this is the way I prefer to "eat soil".
