Generic biaxin and tinidazole - anyone use these?

Wondering if these are being dispensed in the U.S. or Canada.

These ones are from ADC. So: Tiniba and Synclar. I've not heard of them.

Tiniba - 300 mg
Tinidazole
Generic for Fasigyn
Manufactured by : Zydus Alidac, India

Synclar - 250mg

Clarithromycin
Generic for Biaxin
Manufactured by : Cipla, India

I was on biaxin before and the container just says: Clarithromycin. not sure if it's generic...maybe the paperwork with it said more...but I don't have it anymore.

I'm asking because online it is Synclar...wanted to make sure it was what others' were using.

1 500mg tablet Twice daily.

My bad....foggy day today.

Just checked my tinidazole. It just says tinidazole 500 mg cap, so I assume it's not a "generic" per se (although I thought tinidazole _was_ the generic?).

Yes tinidazole is the generic for Fasigyn.

I once saw a version of Tinidazole tablet 500mg named Tinfil from Fourrts India.

You 'saw' it? So, you weren't prescribed it...and never took it?

I asked for Tinidazole from local pharmacies and one showed me that one. I didn't take it though. It's the only Tinidazole that was formally registered in Hong Kong.
