Stained teeth!

Since starting treatment about eight months ago my teeth have gotten UGLY. Aggresive plaque build up with dark brown stains. I had them cleaned (poor hygienist worked long and hard) and within just a few weeks the stains were back. I am on several rotating antibiotics, mepron, and alinia. At first I thought it was the drugs for sure, but wondering if maybe it's the Borrelia itself. Frustrating.
Dentist also found one deep cavity. Since I have heard root canals are a bad idea, looks like I will be getting another implant. I already have 2 implants from a car accident years ago. This will be number three.

And the hits keep coming. Any Insights you have to offer are greatly appreciated.

Me too - staining more recently- and I started Mepron a few months ago. I wonder if it's Mepron - as I've been on several antibiotics and it didn't happen until recently.
Mine are staining in between the teeth (sides) - not on fronts.

Why do you need an implant because of a cavity? Can't you get a filling (non mercury amalgam)?

I have an implant that is staining. How can a fake tooth decay?! These darn oral spirochetes will eat anything it seems.

Implants probably ruined my health. I wish I had known then what I know now. Its not like there are a bunch of alternatives though. Bridges wont hold in the molars.

Chicken - is it decay? You can have staining without decay. That's what mine is.

My dentist said it's staining without decay, although the aggressive plaque isn't good, but I have always had that. But it wasn't so bad until it turned brown!

Mine started before I took mepron. I think it started after the first meds I took, which was doxy, then zithro and Flagle. Kinda hard to remember after all the combinations of different drugs over the past eight months.

My best theory is that all these drugs wipe out the beneficial bacteria balance. Then other stronger more aggressive bacteria take over. Nature abhors a vacuum. Something is gonna live through it.

I guess I will just try not to worry about it until I can stop all the drugs and build up some healthy biology again. Although I wish I could find something to help this, no luck yet.

I have found some products that are probiotics specifically for the mouth. Maybe worth a try, for sure after I get off the drugs.

That happened to me and my dds didn't think it was a concern but a biological dds found major infection under teeth that was killing me. See a biological dds-be careful with implants until all infection is gone for at least one year

I had this when I was doing tinctures (i think csa, hout, sida and few ithers but can't recall). I stopped them and did coconut oil pulling and it mostly went away. I had also been on azith/plaq. It was like brown/black stains more prominent on sides of teeth/cracks.

Mepron is bad on teeth color.

Have you ever had a look at the backs of your teeth?! That is where the staining on mine is especially bad. Between the teeth is bad as well but nothing like the backs.

The minocycline (blue/gray) color doesn't come off with dental cleanings.

I read it is underneath the surface...and may be permanent...or at least take a few years.
It can also stain bones and the thyroid. (YUCK)

I am going for ozone tomorrow. There is no true biological dentist near me so I will go for the ozone as close to having a conventional dentist pull my implants.

I want to speak to the doctor who will be giving me ozone if he thinks the cavitation will have to be removed. He may say ask the dentist. It will be 2-3 weeks before the dentist will remove the implants.

I am in a bit of mild pain now, but it is not an ambesol moment. The mild pain after the completion of 100 days of Augmentin was my only indicator, but by the looks of my panoramics this has been a hidden problem for quite some time.

More when I get back.

Yeah I am certain there is truth to it. I have a lot of respect for Chinese medicine.

I am going to follow Huggins protocol for the removal of implants and not cross the meridian.

So when I can get the removal of implants scheduled, it will be all implants top and bottom on the right side. Then I will book a separate appointment to have all of the implants top and bottom on the left side removed.

Each appointment will be surrounded by ozone treatments using Prolozone and Autohemotherapy.

I still haven't solved what to do about the necrolized jaw bone but I will.

I fly in the morning to Panama City so I am hitting the hay. Ill check in with you guys and let you know how the ozone went.

What kind of implants do you have? I just got zirconia implants should I be worried? If you remove the implants wouldn't your jawbone degrade over time?

Thats what I'm wondering. If you remove teeth and replace with bridges - you will lose more bone.
But with implants...you don't.
