Looking for LLMD in NJ/NY

Hey all,

I went to an LLMD which gave me a bunch of PCR tests that were negative, but a western blot that has band 41 for IgM and bands 41, 58, and 83/93 for IgG. She told me everything is negative so I’d like to get a 2nd opinion and maybe an igenex test?

Any recommendations for an LLMD that’ll actually help me?

Hi Jq,
Well, bands 83 & 93 are Lyme specific, so I'd say that LLMD didn't know what they are doing. You shouldn't need any more testing that that.

I know personal references are best, but if you don't get enough, you can send me or Girlie an email and ask for the referrals we have. We haven't seen any of them, but it will at least be a place to start.

I am newly diagnosed and I see dr. S in Howell. I saw him once so far and I took him my western blot from my primary doctor. I had bands 23 lgm, 41 and 66 lgg positive and he told me I had Lyme. He then took blood and tested me for autoimmune disease, thyroid, a complete CBC and metabolic panel, RA factor, hep c, EBV, and co infections. He then started me on omnicef until we see about co infections which I believe I have babasia cuz I saw my results from labcorp. He's a very quiet Dr but answers all questions you have and his ratings are really good. If you want his info, lemme know!
