Forgive me, Alunke, but I'm getting a little lost - we had a lot of stress over the weekend and my brain fog is still hanging on.
So, did you have an adrenal test? What kind and what were the results?
And no, what you linked to is not an adaptogen, it's adrenal cortex. It's a glandular that is made from Bovine adrenal glands. I had to take this for a while myself when I was in the beginning of Addison's and my adrenals were trying to shut down.
Did a doctor tell you to take the adrenal cortex? If not, don't use it, as it could make your situation worse if you aren't sure what exactly is going on. Here is a good article on it if you don't already understand this - and for those that would like to do some reading on it:
/www.drlam.com/blog/glandulars-and-herbs-for-adrenal-fatigue-part-1/7544/ If you do need it, you need to take it at the same time daily, every day, to properly support the adrenals.
We do need to be careful to not add hormones that we don't need, and to take them when we do need them.
