Swollen Lymph Node under one arm...? Lyme or something else

Hi,

my Lyme is back in full force, dizziness, eyesight on the right eye is completely off, muscle pain, mood swings, insomnia you name it. For about two weeks I have noticed a what seems to be a swollen lymph node under my left arm. It is actually between my armpit and my breast. So of course I scheduled an appointment to get it checked out and rule out serious things like cancer etc... It is not untypical for me get swollen glands but usually I get them on both sides of the body. However my appointment is not until the 25th of this month and I am a bit nervous about this.
Did anything like this happen to any of you?

I am currently on low meds Rifampin 300 mg once a day, Samento and Burbur.

Always good to be safe and have things checked out, but I would guess it's nothing more than a backed up node with some blocked pathways.

How is your de-toxing regiment? I get this every couple of weeks and have the same mental jolt...oh no do I have cancer now? But I'm not on abx and so am not getting an overload of die off toxin. It goes away after a few days.

Your's seems pretty well blocked up though. Have you tried gently massaging it?

thanks so much for your reply. I have to admit I was slacking a little bit with my detox. Now that the lyme hit me again I started with lemon water, epsom baths, alka seltzer gold and Burbur. I might add the APO Hepat again.
I was doing so well and boom here it is again. Kind a noticed that I have been extremely tired and the past weeks and the insomnia is at a point where even two sleeping pills won't knock me out.

I will try to massage it now, hopefully that will help... Just hate to wait until the 25th...

do an ultrasound, it cannot 100% rule out cancer but it's a very good tool to say something quickly about your condition, and then u can monitor its size in 3-4 months time. it's very unlikely, given you have a TBD and that most probably is giving u adenopathy. but these lymph cancers if caught early are among the most survivable cancers out there, meaning u really can get cured. no reason to panic.

borrelia, bart or reactivated EBV, they all can cause enlarged nodes and they are part of the TBD spectrum. nothing to do about that, except get your lyme treatment.

red root helps a lot with relieving lymph inflammation. what's fantastic to me is nobody really gives a darn, i mean u have a herb that helps with lymphatic drainage, and there are no meds that i know of that do that, but if u google red root and studies u almost find nothing ... corporatists... get your greed act together, fund some tests and develop some medication based on these herbs, get rich !! now ! what's wrong with you ?

I had a swollen and sore clavicle lymph node - left side only.

For me it was a Bart symptom and resolved after extensive bart treatment.

Buhner writes about Bart causing lymphadenopathy.

I had knots in my armpits and surrounding areas as well, freaked me out. All were reported as nothing to be concerned with but it wasn't till LLMD that an explanation was given, Bart.

I've found lymphatic drainage massage and regular massage to be helping with these.

Sonne, I'm glad you're getting them checked out, it's the only way to get the worry to go away. Sorry too that the Lyme is kicking again.

i'd still do an ultrasound, even if my LLMD tells me "Bart".

you should be aware Lyme reactivates EBV which is the main reason for some of the lymphomas out there (Hodgkins). Very very low chance, but i would not leave stuff like that unchecked....
