Here is a great article about
lyme and hormones.
/www.womensinternational.com/hormones-and-chronic-lyme-disease/I went through menopause long before I ever got lyme disease. My hormones went whacky. I had the brain fog of all brain fogs.
What is so frightening, is that lyme disease brain fog is exactly the same. Coincidence? I think not. Depletion of hormones, is depletion of hormones.
If you read this article, you find that adrenals, thyroid, liver, gall bladder, etc are all affected by lyme.
Our entire body and every system is affected by lyme. That is why it takes so long to cure. That is why it has been called "peeling back the layers of an onion." Such a overwhelming disease that cannot be dealt with just one pill.
As for Zrt labs, click on the link for patients and make sure your state will allow you to order a test. My state requires a doc signature on the test. You can do the saliva and urine at your home after you order the kit.
What does your LLMD suggest for testing? Thyroid, adrenals or sex hormones. It looks to me like those are each individual tests.
