My hair is so brittle, damaged and thin. I treat it constantly with conditioners and masks, take vitamins and still cant get it healthy and thick again. I am on Doxy and about
to start IV meds, I am afraid its all going to fall out. If i feel better though, i dont even care...but it would be nice to get my hair nice and pretty again.
Any one experience significant hair loss? Anyone have full hair loss? Anything work to fix it? The more im reading, its not the meds, its stress from the disease, emotional stress, poor immune system, etc.
I may pull an a Brittany Spears and shave it all off here soon. At least i wont have to worry about
styling it...because im too tired anyway.

I considered doing the shave thing too. My hair is brittle, damaged looking and extremely thin, I'm actually surprised there is hair on my head. I haven't taken any meds, I believe in my case it's my immune system

My hair is so dry and broken and keeps getting shorter and shorter and shorter from breakage. Its so thin, i just have a little bun. My hair has always been a huge part of my image. That sounds weird, but its my thing and i have always love my long, thick hair. It hasnt grown longer in about
2 year, just keeps breaking off and its to the point that id rather just get rid of it. Its bizarre.

Collagen and Biosil were my hair savers.

While I've not read the book, here's something I heard about
a few years ago:

Hormones can definitely affect hair loss.

Lysine will help keratin production, my hair has been thicker since I've taken it. I take 2000mg 3x day.

Ok, i will try anything. I did hair, skin and nails, but it was too much on my stomach with everything else i take. Would make me throw up! YUCK. I have barontella, babesia, lyme and possibly erichliosis. not even sure what that last one is. Do people lose all their hair ever? from the IV meds?
i dont know why my anxiety is wrapped around this so much. Im just anxious because we are getting engaged soon and will be having a wedding sometime next year.

Thyroid levels are exactly where they should be. Not that at this time.
