Flawed? Or corrupt.
As with MY LLMD, who was successfully sued (in California, no doubt), most of these MDs are targeted by the MALPRACTICE INSURANCE COMPANIES. And guess where they get their fire power?
Once the dark side of the corrupted machine gets its momentum going, there's no stopping it. The system is rigged against these pioneering MDs.
People assume that since some states have legislation protecting the use of alternative protocols that it protects MDs. This is true but anyone can still be sued. And unless you have $500k to fight the case in the courts, you will lose. My LLMD operated as a 501c.3 not-for-profit and now she's mainly out of business due to the expenses of fighting the case and also the expenses involved in her "punishment" from losing her case. She now sees patients cash-only one day/wk at a "borrowed" office.
Those of you who feel well enough, we need you to spread the truth about Lyme however you can. There is a recent surge in campaigning against Lyme truth under the guise of "calling out the anti-vaxxers" and "aiming to stop pseudoscience" and "dangerous treatments used on people who don't really have Lyme" and "studies show long-term abx don't work", etc.
But these people are paid to write this shrill (and many really have no idea what they're really doing - they're just following talking points they were given). But these articles and internet pieces are actually part of marketing campaigns for upcoming vaccines. At this time, we know nothing about the vaccines but the marketing for them includes vilifying anyone talking about chronic Lyme, LLMDs or criticizing the "system" that continues to promote an unmitigated epidemic with these lies.
Anytime you see a hit piece article or blog, tell the truth. Correct the pseudoscience. Let people know where they can find real support (I always send people to LymeDisease.org and sometimes here to this forum if that's where the conversation goes).
