Update on my progress

So, this is one from 2015 - I did a quick search and can't find one that is more recent (I'm sure I did one in 2016)

The updates (changes)- are in BOLD type.



SYMPTOMS 90-100 % BETTER

Weight loss
depression
crawling sensations under skin
sleep apnea
rib pain it comes back now and then for a few days
sore lymph node - back of head
lymph node - left side of neck
tailbone pain
lower back pain
tremors
lump in throat
bump or nodule on top of right foot - it's gone!!
finger joint pain - didn't have it until approx. 4 months into treatment.
range of motion - (froze shoulder)
neck pain - started after antibiotic treatment started -
sleep issues - (sometimes awakened with pain) - not awakened with pain
phlegm in throat -
Anxiety -
right and left shoulders pain -pain started two months after antibiotics started -

SYMPTOMS BETTER THAT ARE LESS THAN 90 %

off balance - 60-80% - 80-90%
mid back pain - 50% - 80%
memory - 40-60% - 60-80%
muscle strength - 20-40% - 80-90%
tingling/numbness - feet, sometimes hands - 50%
shooting/stabbing migratory pain- not as frequent



SYMPTOMS UNCHANGED OR WORSE

hot flashes and sweats - 20% - bad now while on babs treatment
pressure in head - 50% - came back full force since babs treatment
foot pain - 80% came back after switching from bart to babs treatment
muscle twitches - 80% - have come back since babs treatment
Shivers/chills - maybe worse
vibrations in body - some days they are reduced a little, but not enough to count. - no change
nerve pain - upper left back/shoulder blade/arm/hand - some days a bit better, not enough to count. - no change
very "veinous" - hands/legs/feet - veins are very prominent - no change
thin skin - loss of fat - back of both hands. - no change
POTS no change

A few not mentioned in the above list:

I had knee joint pain...had a bad flare in 2016 on my left side - couldn't bend it for about a week - it's completely better. (I think it was part of a bart herx)

Tinnitus - I was quite a bit better prior to babs treatment (bart treatment?) but it's about 95% better now since Babesia treatment. It may be from the bart treatment/healing time.

Girlie I'm curious about your foot pain and what type of pain you experience(d)?

I have terrible burning and ball of foot pain that has been getting progressively worse over the last few months. The pain is only on my right foot, but the burning soles and heels is on both. It's accompanied by numb-like sensations and tightness on the soles of both feet, but they are not really numb if that makes any sense.

My foot pain seems the initial re-emergence of symptoms that flared for me back in 2014, but then went away for about 3 years. It really sounds like Bartonella with the other shin and lower leg symptoms I have going on. I see you treated for that.

I have tinnitus as well, but I always blamed Led Zeppelin for that lol. However, it has gotten much worse over the last few years, coinciding with the time frame of these other symptoms. I'd like to think that would get better with treatment, but not holding my breath for that.

i'm trying to think if my swollen lymph node was moveable...It was in my clavicle (left side).

Either way - lymph nodes are greatly affected with lyme and also bart.

Are yours' swollen and/or sore (Now that mine has resolved I can't even find it) I'm thinking yours' must be swollen if you're feeling them.

Mepron, minocycline, Bactrim,Artemisinin pulsed.

(recently stopped the bactrim - it increases my burning nerve pain )


Prior to bactrim did azithromycin ....then biaxin...

Going to add in either Ceftin or azithromycin and switch the mino to doxy on my next round)

Awesome!!! so happy to hear you are making progress. And hopefully the kicking up of some of those symptoms are herx-issues because you are hitting the infection (specifically babs but maybe the others too) with effective meds! keep up the good fight Girlie!!!

I go back and forth on the 'response' to Bactrim. I don't know if it's a herx...or something else.
I've read a lot about Bactrim causing some nasty issues...and it kind of freaks me out.

Still in the fight....but growing weary as time goes on...it sure is a marathon.

This is great progress and the symptoms you mentioned lingering are definitely herxes especially the first six ones you mentioned because I experienced them all at once when I introduced 4-5 g of MSM at once (the head pressure and headache for me were the most annoying plus my anxiety went up the roof suddenly). That happened two weeks ago even though I quit using all my supplements thinking I'm cleared of this mysterious parasite or whatever infection I have left. Turns out I'm dealing with PR based on my research and the things I've experienced so far but now I think I'm getting rid of it for good using only high dose MSM, Liposomal colostrum, coffee enemas, and of course good low-fat diet. I used to eat a lot of eggs thinking the fat isn't going to harm me since I'm in my early 20's, but boy I was wrong not considering the fact that biofilm might be in the equation. Since I started addressing biofilm my energy level is honestly up the roof (its comes with anxiety but that's expected since I'm still treating with high dose MSM). The physical pain symptoms, however, are diminished greatly and I think if I am able to tolerate up to 25 grams of MSM without feeling anxious then I know I'm ready to post the conclusion about my healing.
