Muscle testing

Many of us have the same experience. I have. That's the nature of lyme. Some of the answers elude us.
I have done muscle testing - sometimes they were right, other times they were wrong. I wouldnt do it again.
I have gotten the best results from Electrodermal Screening. Enough for me to have a good general idea of what is working in my body and what to do. It really does depend on the practitioner. I have gone to a different one everytime. The first was so expensive and I think he was using the machine just to promote his services. He had no intention of giving me real answers. The second practitioner was very good but it was too far to travel. The third one seemed good, but I didn't get the impression she was being very professional, she dismissed some of my concerns and gave me her opinion instead. When I would have preferred she used the machine as a reference not her own ideas. I am seeing a lady this Friday and she says she has a Russian machine that can match me to the right remedies. I have to see if that works. I live in Australia I understand EDS is better known there.

I always go with my gut feelings. If I think it is hocus pocus I don't go back. But, if I feel like what they are saying is true, I will give them a second try.

I have EDT testing, similar to EDS I think. You hold a wand in one had and the doc puts another wand on points on your hand or feet. Amazing tool!! My acupuncturist that does it is amazing. He knew I did not have a uterus. How the heck did he know that when I am fully dressed and he is poking my hand???

I was convinced right then. And he has not been wrong. I go to him for allergies and he has desensitized me to many of my allergens.

There are many practitioners out there that are not good fits for us. We just have to trust our gut instincts and pick the ones that work for us, not against us.

I think muscle testing really depends on the practitioner. My first LLMD did it well and used it to choose my treatment (herbal vs abx) and dosage. Then he retired, and the new LLMD tried muscle testing but never really became proficient with it. Now I see a ND, who just does muscle testing, and I'm making much better progress with him. Three years ago, I wouldn't have been open to this type of practitioner, but at this point, I'm willing to do the crazy stuff if it works!

Thanks for your comments everyone! Seems like it's a common thread about the practionner, some good and some not so good! The lady I went to told me that babesia kept testing positive and this was 2 and a half years ago! I finally got diagnised with Lyme a year and a half ago and babesia a half year. So I think she is good at what she does, so feeling a little confused when neither Lyme nor babesia came up only Epstein Barr! I was told by a dentist that I have a tooth infection but she said that no bacteria infection came up (could be since I'm on antibiotics) so I'm a little puzzled and confused what to do! I put off getting my tooth pulled, I did have a strong gut feeling that I need to wait before doing that.

Wow! I'm so glad you had such good luck with your ND! So you were never recommended to have your tooth pulled? I'm curious what homeopathic remedies helped you. I had an app to have my tooth pulled and I had this gut feeling that I shouldn't do it since things might get worse! I just don't know anymore who to believe or what to do? I'm so sick and tired of these headaches and all my other symptoms!! I think I was almost better before I started treatment! I just feel so lost and scared!

If it died, you feel zero pain, as the nerves died. A fast test is to put ice or anything very cold ONLY on that tooth and see if you feel the cold.

You could put a small spoon on the freezer and ask someone to try to touch only one tooth briefly with that spoon, to see if you feel the cold (sometimes it's painful though).

Dentists will use dry ice to check if the tooth is alive or not.

As I said, once the tooth dies, it can harbor all sorts of infections and you feel NIL. You may only feel when great part of the bone under the tooth becomes too bad.

The bone pain is a dull pain, though, in my experience. It's never an acute pain, like teeth pain.

I pulled 7 teeth off, all dead, some with root canals, some I did not know were dead. ALL of these dead teeth were fully infected under. But X rays showed nothing. The dentist made me even sign a paper saying he was not responsible if he found nothing after pulling the teeth. I signed.

but you gotta see his face, every time he pulled my teeth off. He was disgusted and surprised to find all bones already consumed by bad infections....

Hey Tony, if you could see a Dr. K's practitioenr, they could answer that question to you through energy tests.

They are very good at testing teeth.

I can just talk of own experience. Two teeth were testing bad during lyme, and my 2 ART practitioners kept saying, take them off, on and on. I pulled these 2 teeth, and they were infected, really badly. They were right, my dentists were wrong (I went to 5 dentists who said my 2 teeth were fine!!).

I had dull pain in one of them. The dull pain stopped the moment the anesthetic effect disappeared. For good! Until today, that dull pain I had for a decade or more (very light, but certainly there) disappeared.

I felt a relief, but I can't say I got healed from lyme due to that. I don't think it's a direct cause. I do think though that letting a bad infection grow in the mouth is not a good idea. The dentist showed me what was inside (he showed me in a spoon!!!), and THAT stuff inside my mouth was not a good idea.

it's like if you have an open infected wound on your skin for years, decades, what good can that do?

Headaches can have to do with teeth, with a wrong bite, with teeth infections, with toxins, infections of the brain, simply meridians in trouble etc...

An ART practitioner can look into all that, if he is good.

If the tooth stopped aching, it either healed, or died. Any dentist here can make a fast test to see if it's still alive in 1 second (ice test).

If it died, it probably died from infection, right? So there must be a mess there.

Years later after lyme, I started having heart problems, insomnia, high blood pressure etc. My lyme dr told me it was one tooth. I pulled it off, and that same night, I could sleep again. All heart crazy symptoms stopped for good after day 2 or 3 after the extraction. They never returned (about 3 years I have no more heart symptoms)!
