Try googling -- herbs to avoid while trying to conceive.

A good herbalist will be able to tell you. I have called SageWomanHerbs in Colorado with questions and they were very helpful.

If you have a local herbalist or health food store, they might be able to direct you where to inquire.

Fortunately my wife and I were able to conceive very quickly (first try). Unfortunately she has miscarried at 4 weeks, 6 days.

I hope none of the herbs I take had anything to do with it. They are green dragon LB tonic protocol+houttuynia. Fwiw, Green Dragon writes "Do not use protocol if pregnant or trying to get pregnant, and consult a practitioner if breastfeeding."

I will try to get in touch with them, but in the meantime would appreciate other feedback.

Sorry, I can't help you with the herbals - and contraindications.

But, I think those would be more for the woman getting pregnant...not so much with the male partner.
But, it is wise for you to check anyway.
