I'm so glad you're feeling better, but I literally cannot bring myself to kill bees. It's horrific to me. I'm opting for the herbal route, but I have no problems with people doing what they need to do. Whatever works for you. It's just not for me. There's a guy in my building who does Kombo (same concept as BVT, but with frogs). I'm going to get more info.
as mike said the bees we use are foragers usually toward the end of their life cycle - he has many hive with many queens laying a 1000 eggs a day and using a few hundred per year, while caring and making 30000+ more bees per hive .
ive also mentioned their is alternative route of injectable venom made by m. simics called venex , he humanly?electrocutes some venom on a collector plate leaving the bees alive , were you thinking of this mike?
If I could handle the stings - I would sacrifice some bees - I'm just not sure I could do it. I have a fear of all stinging insects (and even non-stinging ones)
Blue - does it have to be close to the spine? could it be some other
locations on the body? or even just further from the spine?
I would consider it...if I didn't have to sting close to the spine.
