Alright, putting out a feeler for an LLMD in new england

I have been seeing an ILADS herbalist for several months now to help me with Buhner's but after my recent visit it's clear to me he's never seen anyone like me and has no clue what i have (bartonella encephalopathy), and he says i dont have lyme which im still skeptical of

The guy who found my bart was an ILADS neurologist in CT and he was great but he's so expensive and his office staff is so terrible you can never get an appt with him. Doc.s who understand brain infections and neurological stuff is preferred but I'd like to see what's out there.

FWIW this would be my 4th llmd and only 1 so far has understood my situation

CT, NY, Mass, i dont care, ill drive. Even southern VT, NH and Maine are fine if there is a good doc there.

Hey There - I've got some herbalist, LLMD, and functional medicine contacts in the Boston area. The functional doc takes *some* insurance, which is a nice bonus. Send me an email at the email address in my profile and I'll send you some suggestions.

Sorry you've been having such a tough time finding a doctor who can really listen and understand your situation. That totally sucks.

Every time I read your posts, I think of this doctor and her articles. I looked at her website, and she does do Skype appointments. She's a psychiatrist who is certified in the Shoemaker Protocol for biotoxin illness (mold/Lyme). I don't know her personally, but the functional MD I was working with consulted with her.
