Hey NicHostetier, I'm so sorry it's not helping, please don't get discouraged.
I think I might be the wrong person to give advice, since I'm trying to figure things out along the way too, but I'm going to give you my 2 cents anyway.
From what I understand, and I could be wrong, but menstruum simply means how many parts Gou-Teng to how many parts of inactive ingredients.
From Buhner's website it says:
==============
4. If you have neuroborrelliosis, add: Gou-Teng (Uncaria rhynchophylla) –
• Tincture: ½ – 1 tsp 3–6x daily, depending on severity of brain infection.

From this website (
www.motherearthliving.com/Health-and-Wellness/Herb-basics-Herb-combinations-can-have-broad-benefits-because-of-synergy-16) it says:
• 1 dropperful—1 ml—1/4 teaspoon
So if you get half a dropperful, then I think you get 1/8 of a teaspoon.
Which is far below the minimum of what Buhner recommends.
I'm not a doctor so please don't take this as medical advice, but I think slowly building your way up might really help you.
