Need LLMD in London, England

Hi everyone,

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but I have looked into a few clinics already and they seem to be very expensive.

I am not sure if there are any doctors on the NHS that are LLMD's, or if I will need to seek private treatment. If anyone has any insight on this and could send me a message, I would really appreciate it.

I have had the lyme serology done before, which was negative. I now have another blood test on Tuesday for Bartonella, and Lyme again (likely only ELISA). Given the fact that I have been mysteriously ill for five years and seen every specialist imaginable, I am not sure any of these tests will reveal anything.

I was finally diagnosed with fibro and CFS a few months back, but I am almost positive that these (awful) symptoms started after I picked a tick out of my leg five years back. I just never made the connection. I have also had really bizarre scratch marks appearing all over my body for the past three months, which resemble the bartonella rash.

If anyone can recommend a specialist or doctor that can offer a western blot and test for other co-infections, I would be so appreciative! Unfortunately I am unemployed right now, and am having a hard time finding work that will not strain my body. This means that I do not have a lot of money to invest in this, but I am very desperate at this point to figure out what is going on.

I live in Surrey near London, I can recommend a good herbalist if you go the herbal route. I haven't seen an LLMD, there are only a couple in the UK, one is far too expensive for my budget and the other one is the other end of the country which was too far for me to travel when I was really bad.

I have improved so much in the last 6 months since taking herbs for Lyme and Bart as well as detoxing and keeping, as much as possible, on a wheat, sugar and dairy free diet.

I don't actually see the herbalist I just order the supplements Buhner recommends for Lyme and Bart plus lots more supplements and essential oils. I started the Lyme protocol last July and took a month off in December and started to feel bad again so restarted in Jan this year and added in herbs for Bart.

I had three blood tests for Lyme (only the normal GP ones) and came back negative each time. Dr prescribed a months worth of doxy and I was no better, had several other abx including metronidazole (flagyl) but the fatigue was overwhelming and I wasn't getting any better so decided to ditch the meds and try the herbal route. I am amazed at the results !

I order all my herbs from Bristol Botanicals in the UK.

I'm a Brit living in the U.S., but when I was in the UK, I went to see Dr.M in Brussels. Just hopped on BMI and flew over - ticket not too expensive. His consult is about 90 GBP which is pretty good. His initial tests were expensive though (but my private medical insurance covered those. You might not have to do them if you've had tests before.)

In leicester and went to the Breakspear clinic in Hemel Hempstead, as you said though it's so expensive. I was made redundant from work so money is tight but I didn't know what else to do. This forum has been very helpful.
