Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here has had a flu shot while they were battling lyme disease. what was your experience with it?

I got one when I first started showing symptoms. It made me a lot sicker! I didn't know I had lyme then.

I ended up with the worst "flu" ever after receiving the flu shot the last 2 years. Thought it was coincidence.
Last spring my LLMD told me that Lyme patients should absolutely not get flu shot.

agree... stay away from the flue shot and other immunizations.

The flu shot activated Lyme and Babesia in my son, he was perfectly healthy before then for over 7 years and after his first flu shot it came out with a vengeance.

My chronic Lyme started 4 days after a flu shot in 2009. My body has never been the same since.

I think the flu and pneumonia shot activated my lyme. I didn't know I had lyme last year and had the flu shot again, and my symptoms were worse afterwards. My LLMD says no more flu shot.

I have my doubts whether anyone should get them. It's a shame how these vaccines are so highly recommended. Big pharma in action.

My son had been in remission for over two years, got a flu shot and had a pretty bad relapse. I would avoid it, too many immune suppressing chemicals and garbage in vaccines.

Haven't gotten one since I got Lyme. Was a very firm believer in them before and still am but not for those of use with compromised immune systems.
