Okay great I was just in need of some reassurance. The die off is bearable, so I think I will continue for the same amount of pills for a bit. Thank you so much for all of the info! I honestly feel that this forum has helped me in so many ways that doctors can't.
I wish I found this website sooner. You're all a great help

Hi kml1997 -
Sorry about these added symptoms - but I think they are a good indication that the Nystatin is working!
I think you're right - that the Nystatin is causing yeast/fungal die off and sometimes that can exacerbate your symptoms or create new ones.
Y/f usually originates in the GI but often can grow up the throat and into the mouth and then into the head, affecting ears/eyes/sinuses/skin.
So, when you swallow antifungal pills, the die off also starts in the GI and this is weird but I often experienced what felt like a surge of yeast/fungal overgrowth symptoms eslewhere - as if the y/f started fleeing the area where the antifungals were. I've read theories of "sensing" characteristics of y/f where they "communicate" in a way.
Anyway, if these die off reactions are manageable, keep going! Detox as much as possible - please incorporate a good GI binder and make sure to keep it 2 hrs away from anything else you ingest. And drink a lot of water. Take it easy - don't overexert yourself.
